2026 UROP Mentoring Grant Information Session

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Scholarship (OVPRS) is pleased to be holding an information session about the 2026 Mentoring Grant for Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Work over Zoom on Friday, November 21 at 12:30 p.m. The session will cover topics such as eligibility guidelines, the grantmaking process, and tips for composing a successful application. The session will be recorded and shared with all registrants. Sign up here to attend and receive the . UROP's Mentoring Grant provides awards of up to $10,000 each directly to eligible mentors of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥M undergraduate students conducting research and creative work projects in Summer 2025. Funds are intended to increase and directly support student participation in such opportunities. Proposals will be accepted from November 17, 2025 until January 16, 2026. UROP encourages applications from all disciplines and is particularly interested in receiving applications from non-STEM fields and from early-career (tenure-track, non-tenured) mentors in any discipline.
