What does it mean when our understandings of ‘Border’ and ‘Citizen’ continuously shift? These terms have guided United States politics for decades, their instability reliant on their performance upholding the empire. How does the page function as a border? What can writers and artists offer to dismantle imperial tools everywhere? In sharing my experiences creating my project, this presentation explores anti-border and anti-deportation work through hybrid literary forms.
