AI Goes to the Farm: Agrifood Tech Summit Will Cultivate a Resilient Future

Artificial intelligence is an immediate and powerful tool revolutionizing HawaiÊ»i's food systems. The upcoming AI Agrifood Tech Summit, organized by University of HawaiÊ»i at ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ graduate Jason Ueki, will dive into how HawaiÊ»i can grow more food by making production more efficient and competitive with AI. The summit will feature food entrepreneurs and AI experts from HawaiÊ»i and California. The program includes a workshop where Google’s former Head of Hardware at its Geospatial Division will teach attendees how to create agrifood tools using large language models like Google Gemini and ChatGPT.
