Concert #1: Traditional Japanese Music and Dance, and Contemporary Taiko Collaborations Featuring music of the Kabuki theatre (tsuzumi, taiko, shamisen, vocals), jazz (drumset, vibraphone, ukulele, bass, saxophone, flute), and Kenny Endo's signature multi-piece taiko kit. Also featuring the Renkon Project - a short film by Noe Tanigawa commemorating the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan, accompanied by contemporary dance by Peiling Kao.
