The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥M CSEAS workshops feature storytellers and artists who enliven SEA children’s books and stories with drama, music, & visual arts. In-person ~ https://go.hawaii.edu/iz8 Workshop Schedule Workshop #1 Title: Lutung & the Bees Time: 10:00 – 11:30 AM (HST) /1:00 – 2:30 PM (Pacific Daylight Time) Workshop Leaders: Kirstin Pauka & I Made Moja Learn about Balinese legends and retelling the stories with shadow puppets! Workshop #2 Two Friends, One World Time: 1:00 - 2:30 PM (HST) / June 15th, 7:00 – 8:30 AM (Philippines) Workshop Leaders: Pia Arboleda Learn how to take children’s story and transform it into a comic book! Workshop #3 Title: The Orphan’s Harp Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM (HST) / June 15th, 8:00 – 9:30 AM (Thailand) Workshop Leaders: Ben Fairfield Learn how to make your own recycled instrument to enliven a Karen story! Educators who attend in-person for all 3 workshops will receive: two books, outreach packets, all-day parking, a certificate of completion, and lunch In-person spaces are limited to 20 educators.
