Notice: أغجاض±²¥-Provided Trellix Licensing Ending 9/15 (Aug 20 2:15 pm)

أغجاض±²¥'s license agreement with Trellix (formerly known as McAfee) will end on September 15, 2025. ITS advises that all users who installed Trellix on their devices using a أغجاض±²¥ licensed installer should before this date. Failure to uninstall Trellix by September 15  may leave your device vulnerable to new threats, as Trellix will no longer receive updates.

Recommended Alternatives to Trellix

For personal devices, ITS recommends using your operating system's built-in anti-virus/anti-malware solution. For Windows devices, Windows Defender is natively available with the operating system; for macOS devices, is running though not visible from the operating system’s settings. Additionally, ITS also recommends reviewing the ITS Infosec Personal Security Checklist for resources and tips on how to better secure your devices and data.

Faculty and staff with أغجاض±²¥-owned devices may be contacted by their unit’s IT personnel to install أغجاض±²¥’s Enterprise XDR Solution, SentinelOne.
